Floyd’s Truck Center Supports Habitat for Humanity’s 21st Home Project

Floyd’s Truck Center is proud to announce its first major donation to Habitat for Humanity, contributing significantly to the construction of the 21st home built by the organization. This donation marks a milestone in our support for affordable housing in our community.

Nellie De Los Santos and her sons, Izise and Arnaldo, were selected for this year’s Habitat for Humanity project and are eagerly anticipating their new home. De Los Santos, who has been living with her parents, expressed her excitement about moving into a space they helped build and personalize.

The Habitat for Humanity project, scheduled for completion in late fall, is a testament to the power of community support. As noted by Tom Holyoke, chair of the Habitat for Humanity board, the program is a partnership where families contribute sweat equity and purchase their homes with an interest-free loan.

Floyd’s Truck Center is honored to play a role in turning this dream into reality, alongside other generous contributors. Our involvement underscores our commitment to supporting meaningful community initiatives.
